1. SCC Announcements
• On 26th October Friday Perpetual Adoration by Our Lady of Vailankani Community
• On 27th October Saturday  Church Cleaning by Holy Cross Community
• On 28th October Sunday 8.15am Liturgy by Our Lady of Nazareth Community
2. Tomorrow / Today MISSION SUNDAY there will be a second collection. Let us be generous towards our mission.
3. On this Mission Sunday we have released two new books on St. Pope John Paul 6th and St. Oscar Romero. Along with these books other books are also available in the book stalls set up by Pauline Sisters. Kindly patronize the stall.
4. Mission Sunday rally at St. Paul school ground, Dadar on 21st October from 4pm to 8pm. Speaker will be Trevor and the main celebrant is most Rev. Bishop Dominic Savio Fernandes. All are invited.
5. On coming Wednesday 24th of October after Mass adoration and healing service conducted by Bombay Konkani Service Council leader by Br. Vincent Goves. Kindly attend in large numbers.
6. You can put your Mass intentions in the box placed near the altar for 1st and 2nd of November.
7. On behalf of the Parish team and Parish Coordinators we thank all the senior citizens for attending the programme in big number and also the animators for making the senior citizen programme a grand success. Total expenses incurred was Rs.158634.
8. On coming Saturday 27th of October Alabare at 7.30pm on the church terrace.
9. St. Joseph Konkani Welfare Association is presenting a Konkani social comedy drama AANKVAAR MESTRI on 27th October in the St. Joseph Hall. Coupons are available outside.
10. For all those who want to be a part of the parish choir, auditions will be held on  coming Sunday 28th of October followed by choir practice at 6pm in the conference room. Please come prepared with a song / hymn.
11. Please come to the church modestly dressed and avoid bringing mobile
12. Programmes for coming Sunday 28th October
• St. Jude and St. Francis Xavier Community having their annual T/G Mass at 11.15am followed by get together on the church terrace.
• Youth Mass will be celebrated on the terrace at 9.45am. Requesting all the youth to attend in large numbers

    February 17th, 2019 JER 17:5-8 Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time Lectionary: 78 Reading Thus says the LORD: Cursed is the one who trusts in human beings, who seeks his strength in flesh, whose heart turns away from the LORD. He is like a barren bush in the desert that enjoys no change of season, but stands in a lava waste, a salt and empty earth. Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose hope is the LORD. He is like a tree planted beside the waters that stretches out its roots to the stream: it fears not the heat when it comes; its leaves stay green; in the year of drought it shows no distress, but still bears fruit. Responsorial Psalm PS 1:1-2, 3, 4 AND 6 R. (40:5a) Blessed are they who hope in the Lord. Blessed the man who follows not the counsel of the wicked, nor walks in the way of sinners, nor sits in the company of the insolent, but delights in the law of the LORD and meditates on his law day and night. R. Blessed are they who hope in the Lord. He is like a tree planted near running water, that yields its fruit in due season, and whose leaves never fade. Whatever he does, prospers. R.
